Tulye with Teachers

We love our teachers and staff at Wings of Hope Christian Primary School (WOHCPS). They assist in providing wonderful instruction and care in an impoverished community of Muguluka Uganda, a small town a few miles outside the Jinja, Uganda. Our teachers have focused on caring for 700 students and the community, more than 25% have lost at least one parent and are severely at risk. In spite of these challenges, our teachers at WOHCPS recently led our students to produce top scores in state wide testing and our 8th grade promotion rate three times higher than the national average.

Unfortunately, COVID and the quarantine changed everything for them. Most schools furloughed teachers and with no government assistance in sight, our good teachers are left on an island. Several of our teachers who are putting the orphans and school first and caring for those needs of the school community.

We love our teachers and it is our hope that providing meals support for the rest of the year will uplift their spirits to continue. Please consider to partner with us in prayer and financial support.
