CARE

(Children At Risk Education)

Wings of Hope Christian Primary School has over 700 children from Pre-K through 8th grade. Over 200 are orphans or have lost a parent and living under the poverty line.

Many of these student’s families have received care from one of our hospices. Providing a full circle approach to the problem of hospice care in Uganda is important because otherwise, when patients leave this world, their children are left behind to fend for themselves.

The CARE initiative identifies severely at risk children and families in the community and provides wholistic assistance for education. Our CARE program recipients have benefited from the generous international monthly gifts that empower Wings of Hope Christian Primary School’s teachers and administration to achieve and maintain a high graduation rate.
